Context Menu Reference
Complete reference for every right-click context menu action available in Project Mode. Actions are grouped by the element you right-click on.
Components
Right-click on a component node to access these actions.

| Change Category | Switch component type. Connector option includes shape submenu (rectangular, circular, D-sub, etc.). | |
| Set Color | Assign a color badge behind the component icon. Pick from the palette or click None to remove. Useful for visually grouping by subsystem, voltage level, or function. Also available in multi-selection. | |
| Mating Behavior | Set mating rules: Default (from shape), Receptacle, Pin, etc. | |
| Assign Part from BOM | Assign a BOM connector part to this component. Lists available parts with MPN and manufacturer. Shown when BOM has connector entries. | |
| Bulk Connect | Connect all pins to a target component by position (pin 1 to pin 1, etc.). Requires pins configured on both components. | |
| Add Bundle to... | Draw a new bundle from this component to another node. Layout mode only. | |
| Mate | Contains: Bulk Mate (multi-pin mating), Add Mate... (select connector and pin), and existing mates list with remove option. | |
| Align Mated Connectors | Align connectors mated to this terminal point so their pins line up. Shown for terminal points with mates. | |
| Rotate 90° | Rotate the connector 90°. In the schematic view this cycles the vertical wire-entry orientation (horizontal → top → bottom); in the layout view it rotates the graphic through 0/90/180/270°. Also bound to the R key. Rotating a terminal block also rotates the terminations mated to it. | |
| Reset Label Positions | Reset the dragged positions of this connector's own conductor labels back to their defaults. Schematic mode only. | |
| Device Group | Contains: Add to Group / Create New Group / Remove from Group / Select Device Group (shown contextually) | |
| Visual Group | Contains: Add to Visual Group (select existing) / Create Visual Group | |
| Topology | Contains: Convert to Branch Point (convert component to routing junction, removes pins). Not available for flying leads. | |

| Create Assembly | Package this component (and its connections) as a reusable cable assembly. Shown when it can be assembled. | |
| Save Subassembly to Library... | Save this component as a reusable subassembly template in the library. | |
| Save Subassembly to File... | Export this component as a subassembly file. Desktop app only. | |
| Select Entire Assembly | Select every element of the cable assembly this component belongs to. Shown for assembly-locked components. | |
| Detach from Assembly | Remove this component from its cable assembly so it can be edited independently. Shown for assembly-locked components. | |
| Delete Entire Assembly | Delete the whole cable assembly this component belongs to. Shown for assembly-locked components. | |
| Duplicate... | Create multiple copies of this component. Opens a count prompt with an option to preserve or auto-renumber designators. All copies are created as a single undo entry. | |
| Delete | Remove component from the plan. All connected bundles are also deleted, cascading to their conductors, wire groups, cable assignments, and splices. |
Branch Points
Right-click on a branch point to access these actions. Topology operations are grouped in the Topology submenu.

| Delete | Remove branch point and all connected bundles. Conductors, wire groups, cable assignments, and splices on those bundles are cascaded — any splice left with fewer than two conductors is automatically deleted. |
Flying Leads
Right-click on a flying lead to access these actions. A flying lead is a component, so it also offers most component actions — Set Color, Rotate 90°, Add Bundle to…, Device Group, Visual Group, Set Size, Fit to Content, Save Subassembly, Duplicate…, and Reset Label Positions — but not the connector-only ones (Mating Behavior, Mate, Assign Part from BOM). The flying-lead-specific actions are:

Bundles
Right-click on a bundle to access these actions.

| Waypoints | Contains: Edit Waypoints (add/move control points for Bezier curves), Clear Waypoints (remove all waypoints), Reset to Default (restore default path routing). Layout mode only. | |

Conductors — Schematic Mode
Right-click on an individual conductor path in Schematic Mode to access these actions.

| Copy Properties | Copy this conductor's properties (gauge, color, stripe, etc.) to the clipboard. | |
| Paste Properties | Apply previously copied conductor properties to this conductor. Shown when conductor properties are on the clipboard. | |
| Apply Signal Defaults | Apply the conductor's signal default gauge, color, stripe, and voltage. Shown when its signal has defaults. | |
| Disconnect from [Pin] | Remove the conductor's connection to one endpoint. One entry per connected end (source / target), each labelled with that pin. | |
| Disconnect Both Endpoints | Remove the conductor from both endpoint pins at once. | |
| Reroute via... | Change which bundles this conductor travels through between its endpoints. Lists all valid paths with the current path checked. Only appears when two or more routes exist between the conductor's endpoints. | |
| Reset Trunk Positions | Reset this conductor's trunk handle positions to the default layout. Schematic, wire display. | |
| Reset Label Position | Reset this conductor's dragged label back to its default side and offset. Schematic, label display. | |
| Show as Label / Show as Wire | Toggle between full wire path and stub + destination label rendering. Label mode replaces long conductor paths with short stubs and boxed endpoint labels. Schematic mode only. See Connection Labels. | |
| Terminate Drain Wire | Terminate a shield/drain conductor at its unpinned end. Options: Connect to Pin…, Ring Terminal, Ferrule, Quick Disconnect, Flying Lead. Shown for a shield conductor with an unpinned endpoint. | |
| Twist with... | Start creating a twisted pair: after clicking, pick another conductor on the same bundle to twist with. (Not a submenu — it enters a pick mode.) See Wire Groups & Cables. | |
| Show in Nets Panel | Reveal this conductor's net in the Nets panel. | |
| Delete Conductor | Remove this conductor from the bundle entirely. References in wire groups and cable assignments are cleaned up, and any splice that drops below two conductors is automatically deleted. |
Pins
Right-click on a component pin to access these actions.
The context menu header shows the pin's designator and label (e.g., X1.3 or CB1.V_IN).

| Move Mate | Reassign mate connection to a different pin on the same connector. Shown when pin has mate connections. | |
| Add to / Remove from [Jumper Bar] | Add this pin to (or remove it from) an existing jumper bar on the terminal block. Labels list each jumper bar by designator. Terminal-block pins only. | |
| New Jumper | Create a new jumper bar starting with this pin (or the selected pins). Terminal-block pins only. | |
| Add Termination | Add a termination (ring terminal, ferrule, etc.) to this pin. Submenu lists termination types. Terminal-block pins only. | |
| Show in Nets Panel | Reveal this pin's net in the Nets panel. Shown when the pin has connections. | |

Device Groups
Right-click on a device group header to access these actions.

Notes
Right-click on a plan note to access these actions.

Plan Images

Canvas Background
Right-click on empty canvas space to access these actions. Use C to add a component and B to add a branch point.
